I don't think you'll have any problem. at 100% duty cycle the
forst 62256 datasheet I found quoted a *worst case* current
draw of 70mA. Real life will be much lower than that.
What range of ambient temperatures do you expect ?
If you wanted to get totally paranoid (though I think this will
be a waste of your time and I wouldn't do it unless I expected
the unit to run at very high ambient temps) you can always
space the packet whacker further off the board by socketing it.
