[avr-gcc-list] JTAG with USB chip FTDI FT2232

Hello together,

for a new project with atmega64 I want to use the FTDI FT2232 chip (USB 
to 2 serial ports) as a interface for 2 ways:
- normal datacommunication via serial UART
- JTAG debugging and programming the flash with the second serial port 
in the special JTAG mode

My questions:
Is there any software that I can use ?
has anyone some experience with this Chip together with atmega64 or 
similar ?
