[avr-gcc-list] Standard AVR benchmarks?

Hello Everyone,

Is there a standard set of AVR benchmarks, either in C or in assembly, 
that I can use to evaluate the performance of simulators, compilers, 
etc for AVR?

I have been looking for some time and have not stumbled across anything 
obvious; I've resorted to using a few handwritten benchmarks in tuning 
my simulator's performance, but I'd like to get some more standardized 
benchmarks to get a more accurate picture of the spectrum of 
applications.

Any ideas?
