When you built libbfd, where did you put it?I assume that it compiled it along with binutils, as I compiled binutils with ./configure --target=avr --disable-nls --enable-install-libbfdYou do have include/bfd.h and lib/libbfd.a somewhere, right?I have bfd/bfd.h and bfd/libbfd.a under my binutils path (/root/install/binutils-2.15). Does it matter with the 'lib' and 'include'? In any case, I have also tried to install it to /usr/lib/libbfd.a and /usr/include/bfd.h, and it still does not work... :-/ Best regards Preben
If you download the binutils src, you'll find that the top level directory contains all kinds of things including a bfd directory, and a binutils directory. Building in just the binutils directory won't work. You should first build from the directory above which includes bfd.
