Hello, GCC 3.4.3 has been recently released; I think it contains AVR specific issue. Also GDB 6.3 has been released. Any update of WinAVR in the near future ?
Yes, perhaps later this month if all goes well. I was aware of gcc 3.4.3; it does contain fixes for a couple of AVR issues. Unfortunately, there are more that are only currenlty fixed in HEAD (to be 4.0.0). There will be attempts to backport existing patches.
There are issues with updating WinAVR to GDB 6.3:1. Insight is still only up to 6.1. The main problem with it is that Red Hat and FSF are still in negotiations about transferring copyright of Insight to the FSF. So all work on Insight has been halted until this transfer is done, which is unknown when it will happen. 2. Tests will need to be done with AVaRICE with GDB 6.3. SimulAVR is somewhat changing right now; the new SimulAVR (simulavrxx) needs to be tested with the current GDB as well as GDB 6.3.
So at the moment, I doubt that WinAVR will have GDB 6.3 but will remain with Insight 6.1.
