Thanks, yeah I saw that too. I already took it out and it didn't change 
anything.

As for asking Larry for help, he and I spent a day to try to fix this but we 
couldn't fix it.

In line 28 the option -mmcu is stated twice
AFLAGS  = -c -mmcu=$(GCCMCU) -Wa,-gstabs -mmcu=$(GCCMCU) -I$(GCCINC)
