Hi,
sorry to bother the list with this, but I've just noticed that
I can't email Eric privately.
Hopefully he is reading this and can ask his ISP to whitelist my two
IPs (213.76.211.90, 213.76.211.91) - I have a legitimate mail server
(never abused to send spam), it's just that my ISP (still the only
one to choose from for most people here in Poland) is black hat :(
address@hidden
SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<address@hidden>:
host emu.ecentral.com [216.38.223.233]: 500
<pa90.banino.sdi.tpnet.pl[213.76.211.90]>:
Client host rejected: Please use a local SMTP server
All of *.sdi.tpnet.pl are static IPs (one per customer). Despite
the numbered revDNS (which can't be changed), it's certainly not
a dialup - it's a permanent 115.2k PPP connection. I have two such
connections going to on one dual-homed box (load balancing), so the
SMTP session can come from either one of the two.
If all goes well, soon I'm going to upgrade to a faster DSL service
(512/128k, introduced only recently), with just one new IP, but it's
still the same ISP, so the new IP may be widely blacklisted too :(
(at least, with this service it will be possible to change revDNS)
"We don't care, we don't have to - we are TPSA."
Thanks,
Marek
