Hi,
I have been using my stk500 board for a while now and
it worked like a charm. I have the jtag ice also on it
and connect to it using avarice.
The problem I have is, since this morning I cannot
connect anymore using avrdude. avrdude complains about
not being able to serially communicate with the board.
Also, avrstudio (as a backup to avrdude) fails to do
this.
My avarice connection still seems to work but is
buggy. I get a lot of errors such as the one below:
avarice --part atmega16 --jtag /dev/cuaa0 --file hello
-p
AVaRICE version 2.0.20030403cvs, May 8 2003 00:50:52

So, am I experiencing a hw failure on the stk500 board
?? This seems really odd.
Anyone who has help or a similar experience please let
me know.
