[avr-gcc-list] AVaRICE 17bit fix up

Hi all,

there is a patch for the AVR ICE package avarice at 
http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/simulavr/binaries/SOURCES/ava-patch 
-- the so named 17bit fix up. Now I'm wondering about. What is (was) the 
reason for this fix up. I think about to include this patch into the 
CDK4AVR package. Is it a good idea ?
