[avr-gcc-list] spi ram ?

Hi,

does anybody know about a pice of RAM wich is accessable over spi or another 
"serial" line wich  can be connected to avr's. Speed is not important.
Or is there somewhere a tutorial or description how to implement something 
like "bank switching" of the good old commodore 128 with an avr on some sram 
chips ?
