[avr-gcc-list] atmega128 support

Hello all,
        I have tried to use avr-gcc for compiling atmega128, but it does
not seem to generate valid code.  Currently, I am using 

binutils-2.13 
gcc-3.2
avr-libc-20020203

I think that above sources are not recent enough to support atmega128.
Could someone help me with the current status of atmega128 support?  Which
binutils, gcc, and avr-libc should I build to have a up-to-date
development suite?  Even better if you can supply a Makefile example.
