GNU tool chain already has support for this architecture is what i have
heard. The compiler / linker are already in place. Considering that these
devices use the AVR's JTAG mk-II, it may not be very complicated in
extending support.
The device's unfriendliness to the common hobbyist is keeping me away from
them at home, but i am looking forward to using them in future projects at
work. I hope they come out with some low pin count general purpose
microcontroller as well.
