I sent the following reply on 23 Aug 2003, but apparently it was a
victim of some Sobig.F filter even though it did NOT contain a copy of
the virus:

Maybe a better place to get the current versions of these files is
here:
http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/config/
It seems to me that instead of copying the files to the GNU ftp server
(even if it could be done automatically), it would make more sense to
just put a note there saying where to find them on the savannah
server.
