FYI: bump copyright years

Hello, and a Happy New Year,

I've applied this patch to master, and cherry-picked it into
branch-1-10.  I've also cherry-picked a patch to remove an ugly
debugging leftover from automake.in.  Also, one to regenerate all
dependent files.
