In "Public macros" in the manual, AM_PROG_CC_STDC is described as
setting am_cv_prog_cc_stdc to "no" for k&r.
I suspect this change will stop that from happening. Certainly
am_cv_prog_cc_stdc doesn't seem to make an an appearance in the
configure script any more.
I wouldn't see any need to accept am_cv_prog_cc_stdc as an input,
having never been documented that way, but it probably should be
retained as an output.
