Hey guys
I found a nice solution for this yet, but i have a project and trying
to find the nicest way to build and deploy with a config file, and
define the path to the file so as it isn't hard-coded. I know i could
just deploy a file with a bash redirect, and then AC_DEFINE the path,
but there has to be a more standard way of doing this or is it usually
done on packaging of the application where one would hard code a path
to a file where it would be on the distro? It would just be nice to
have a standard cross platform way of doing this. Any suggestions
would be really helpful, as i have to work on freebsd solaris and
debian. :)
It would just be nice so i don't have to supply a
- --with-config=/etc/bla.... and it to just work it out.
