Good catch. We had forgotten to update the test when we applied consistent
quoting to libtool.m4. Thanks for the report!
I have commited a fix to the development versions of libtool, so the next
release will not suffer from this problem.

The message is harmless provided you have the contents of a matching
libtool.m4 in your aclocal.m4 file already.
