Hello Paul, all,

Now that gnulib has a patch for this older glibc bug (which is still
present in Debian stable) we should check for the bug. I installed
this:
2007-01-24 Paul Eggert <address@hidden>
* m4/fnmatch.m4 (_AC_FUNC_FNMATCH_IF): Add test for glibc bug 361.
Don't use 'exit'; just return from 'main'.

There's enough overlap with other modules now that we should just
check for this stuff once. I installed this:
2007-01-24 Paul Eggert <address@hidden>
* m4/fnmatch.m4 (_AC_LIBOBJ_FNMATCH): Check for headers and
functions just once.
Shouldn't Autoconf's versions of these macros also be updated, even if
they're obsolete?
Cheers,
Ralf
