Greetings,
About a week ago, I posted a message suggesting a patch to the
`Portable shell programming' section, mentioning possible ksh problems
with file descriptors. That's at
<http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/autoconf-patches/2005-06/
msg00002.html>, but I haven't seen any discussion.
I'm mailing about this a second time (at the risk of nagging), because
the original message was frozen -- something vague about `suspicious
headers' -- and though it has subsequently shown up in the archive, I
don't _remember_ seeing it in my inbox.
All the best,
Norman
