This one looks a little too hard-wired. What exactly are
the problems that this fix is intended to solve? Can the
problems be tested for? If so, we should substitute
/usr/xpg4/bin/awk only if the problem has been detected.
For example, I might have Gawk installed as "awk" on my Solaris host.
If so, I shouldn't substitute /usr/xpg4/bin/awk; I should stick with
the "awk" I get from my PATH.
