I do not believe that the set of people/env running a package using
Libtool 1.5 is related in anyway with the set of people/env running
configure.


I am firmly opposed to the idea of releasing a version of Autoconf
using shfn without at least one generation of shfn-spy-enabled
configure.

And, yes, I too know the advantages of shfn.  It is just not the
point.
