OK, I installed it; we can always uninstall it later, I suppose.
I noticed that we couldn't do a similar thing for zsh, though, as zsh
always consults $ZDOTDIR/.zshenv unless /etc/zshenv says not to. At
least, that's what the man page says on Solaris 8.
