Changes to autotest/general.m4

A few changes rolled into one:
 - check for the times builtin
 - some rewording
 - have -e imply -d (the previous help text implied this, but
   didn't actually enable -d behaviour when -e was given)
 - a resubmit of my test range addition - I know this is mainly
   useful for shells that don't have {1..10} expansion, but typing
   "testsuite 1-10" feels more natural to me.

        * lib/autotest/general.m4: Reword some messages.
        (AT_INIT): Check for the `times' builtin before using it.
        Support test ranges as arguments to the testsuite.
        Have -e imply -d as the help text suggested.
