Hey, don't panic.  It's disabled for M4sugar and M4sh, but
reestablished for Autoconf.  The test suite passes.  Everything is
alright.

2.50 is also the first ``release'' of M4s*, and it would be a pity to
have an API we don't like.  Hence we have to move it now.
