Excellent, thanks!  (i.e., Ok :-)

But I wonder if we shouldn't accept an argument specifying the default
value, so that automake could arrange for it to be called with
`missing lex' or something alike.

Of course, this can be done after AC_PROG_LEX finishes, checking
whether LEX is set to `:'...

> P.S. It's a very intersting question why AC_DECL_YYTEXT, and not
