cl2patch expects ChangeLog entries to be formatted in a way similar to
that output by cvsdiff.  Basically, it recognizes formats such as:

for ChangeLog
by  Your Name  <address@hidden>

and

Index: foo/bar/ChangeLog.local
from  Your Name  <address@hidden>
