Hi,
auctex.spec currently contains:
%define FOR_SUSE %{?suse_version:1}%{!?suse_version:0}
%if %{FOR_SUSE}
%define distri .suse
%define commongroup Productivity/Editors/Emacs
%define xemacspkgdir %{_datadir}/xemacs/xemacs-packages
%define extraconfig
'--with-auctex-startfile=%{_datadir}/emacs/site-lisp/suse-start-auctex.el'
'--with-preview-startfile=%{_datadir}/emacs/site-lisp/suse-start-preview-latex.el'
This only makes sense if no xemacs-sumo or similar package already
leaves us with an AUCTeX version in /usr/share/xemacs/xemacs-packages.
If it does, we would probably need to go to
/usr/share/xemacs/site-packages instead to avoid conflicts, like we do
on RedHat.
Any word on that from SuSE users? Reiner? Where do the various SuSE
packages for XEmacs place their AUCTeX?
