xemacs-base 1.82 1.87 Fundamental XEmacs support, you almost
certainly need this.
Works here. The above is Ubuntu's XEmacs, according to the package manager.
No, I really don't want to know why the stock installation is newer
than the currently available version. If 1.82 is declared the latest
available version for whatever obscure reason, it would seem necessary
to work around this.
I hate the whole illogical XEmacs mess. Going to fix that.
