[Aspell-user] Error: No word lists can be found for the language "en_US"

hi Kevin,

I installed Aspell-0.50.2 successfully. I am able to run the command line
version properly. My aim is to use this in the program using the api. Before
directly using it I wanted to use the example program in the examples directory
called
example-c. when i run the program as ./example-c en_Us i get the following 
message

Error: No word lists can be found for the language "en_US".

Could any one suggest me, what probably i could do.

I would highly apprciate any type of suggestion.
