Note, however that I am very unfond of darc's wide variety of un commands. They have cleaned them up a bit, but darcs still has: remove, amend-record, rollback, unrecord, unpull, obliterate, revert, and unrevert.
If the intention is that people will "unrevert" regularly, then maybe revert really is more of a shelve. Having revert be irreversible would not seems surprising to me. As far as I can tell, that's how it is in bzr and hg.
