The PlayOgg.org campaign advocates Ogg Vorbis and Ogg Theora because
they are formats that respect the freedom of those who want to use them.
They are not encumbered by patents that restrict who can develop
software to play and produce media.

Today the Free Software Foundation as part of a broad coalition has
launched a campaign to end the threat of software patents for good. If
we can eliminate such patents, then we will undoubtedly have even more
options for unencumbered digital audio and video formats available to
us.

Please take a moment to help get the word out about this new campaign.
