I was referring to the United States, where I live, and where the recent
MP3 litigation occured.

Please don't call my part of the world tyrannical just because my
government has made a bad decision that I strongly disagree with.

That's the only point I was trying to make here.

I strongly oppose patents in both the EU and the United States.
