[Advocate Play Ogg] Jamendo's Ogg Vorbis bitrate -- why so high?

AFAIK Jamendo still offers downloads in MP3 and Ogg Vorbis. But you must download an album via BitTorrent or eMule.

One question: Why is the bitrate of Ogg Vorbis far greater than the bitrate of MP3? People may get the wrong impression.
