Adonthell is dead, long live Adonthell!
If you have not been frequenting the adonthell-devel mailing list or website lately, we have some bad news for you: development on Adonthell has stopped [1].
In order to sweeten this decision - which was not taken lightly - and to preserve the work that has gone into the project over the past 17 years, the 0.3 engine branch and the Waste's Edge demo game have received a major update, new music and even a bit of new gameplay, in the form of unlockable achievements.
As of now, source code as well as binaries for Linux, MacOS X and Windows are available for download [2]. There's even a manual with a bit of background lore and a retrospective of the project [3].
