Exactly. The same translations that were available at the time
François did the 0.5g release, but since then lots of translators have
been working on improving and creating new translations for 0.5g which
should be available at the Free Translation Project. A new release
of wdiff which is based on 0.5g should ideally include all the
translations available for 0.5g.
