Does the -b option work with the kernel and its various memory allocation /
deallocation schemes? Or does it assume that only malloc/free are used to
allocate/deallocate memory. If so, what kind of modifications would be
required to support -b on some of the kernel code. Presumably some
modification is necessary to register/deregister the active memory regions.
Pointers in the right direction kindly appreciated.
