[Swftools-common] 2 questions - gif2swf & configure error

great tools, but i tried gif2swf on some animated gifs.
some of them, the background became transparent when it shouldnt have. and also it one shouldn;t have looped, but the output swf did loop.

QUESTION -- i was using 
0.7.x ... do these problems get fixed in 0.8 ?

Question 2 --
i tried installing 0.8... but got this error:

any ideas? I did install the required libs...
since it says see config.log, i have attached it to this email.

the last line of config.log says "exit 77"
not sure what that means
