To partly answer my own question, It was the pdfs our work has created where
I was not able to capture hyperlinks from.  I have since tried on other
pdf's that have hyperlinks in them and I see the results I want to see.  I
guess I need to research more on the previous conversion that was done, to
get the pdf's from high resolution for our textbooks to the low res version
we use for digital distribution.  If anyone knows of some good resource info
sites for this (guess its google time)  or have any tidbits of info from
past experiences that they want to share it would be much appreciated.

Hey everybody,

This is my first time posting here, I have read a bunch of replies and
searched the archives but still seem a little stuck.   I am using
swftools
on a WIN2000 machine and am trying to figure out if this is a good
solution
for converting a bunch of pdfs into swfs.  I need to know how do I
capture
the existing hyperlink in the pdf when I do the conversion.   The
closest
thing I have seen is -samewindow, but so far none of old hyperlinks are
present.  I have looked at the converted PDF in the flash player and
inside
Flash MX and 2004.  Any info or help would be much appreciated.
