I have sent a message to Matthias - but perhaps the group has an answer.
I have 2 SWF files: one called intro.swf and another called content.swf
I do swfdump on both of them to confirm the number of frames:
swfdump -f intro.swf returns frame count = 1
swfdump -f content.swf returns frame count = 969
I combine both of these files to create output.swf
swfcombine --cat intro.swf content.swf
I do swfdump on the resulting output.swf and swfdump reports ZERO frames!
swfdump -f output.swf returns frame count = 0
Obviously, the frame count should equal 970.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I have become very reliant on swfcombine (among the other excellent swftools) - if I cannot resolve this urgent issue I have to go back to the drawing board with a few designs!
