thanks for the info.

Another question,  if I write some code on the viewport MC that is on my
stage,
will it get overwritten when your swfcombine writes to it.   Does it just
replace the viewport
or could i throw some onClipEvents in it and still have them?

There's no way yet to *set* the background color. It's always white.
But it's now always there, so the page color of the SWF's parent
page no longer shows through.
