All my SKS VMs are currently running with 2 vCPUs and 4GB RAM, which
for the most part is sufficient. During recon mode they spike RAM up
to almost all of the RAM available at times but then it declines back
down. I do have a 4GB swap partition available on them all as well but
hate when they touch it. I also see the CPU spike heavily during the
recon mode times as well, especially on the primary node that is doing
recon with my external peers along with the other nodes of my cluster.
For this reason I've also built my primary SKS node with the database
directories on a Samsung 860 PRO V-NAND SSD which has greatly helped
the IO performance during recon mode.
