Hello,

for someone who looks out for projects, that need help, it would be helpful to
find only entries that are active.

When Looking at the pages of projects, that look for help, some entries are 5,
10 or even more than 20 years old.
And they seem to be outdated. It is not even sure if the project exists at
all. And if it exists, the help-announcement might already be outdated.

Looking at those pages, the only active project I found there was PSPP.

An automated expiration mechanism would help cleaning up.
or example it would make sense that after 6 months the help-page vanishes
automatically, if the project leader does not refresh the help-wanted. (Of
course the project leaders should be notified early enough to refresh.)

A second expiration mechanism could also be used (e.g. one yearor two years)
for project pages itself.

This would be helpful in only finding projects via svannah that really look
out for help currently. To read through outdated / orphaned / dead project's
pages / help-wanted-pages makes no sense.
