When trying to clone git repositories on savannah - personally I tried cloning
 https://git.savannah.gnu.org/git/emacs/nongnu.git and
https://git.savannah.nongnu.org/git/administration/savane.git/ I always get
the error message "fatal: repository 'xyz' not found".

When trying to browse repositories on the web, using, for example
https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git, only the error message "No
repositories found" is displayed
