They were automatically cleared after Dec 4.

Account names are ASCII; user names may be UTF-8, e.g.
//savannah.gnu.org/users/hagb

In fact, user names don't show up in the registration messages, but the
messages are localized, including their subjects, depending on browser
settings.

But why can't Savannah send Unicode messages in the first place?
