Beta Testers Needed!

DocSoft. Inc. is currently developing a CGM to SVG conversion software that will convert WebCGM (CGM4) to Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) format. The software will also have an API available for integration with other software as well as extend the functionality.

Version 1 will translate vector, text, fill and gradient information to SVG 1.1. It will also provide the capability of "round-tripping", or converting SVG to WebCGM format. The entire WebCGM specification will be supported, with 2 options implemented for lengthy cell arrays (convert to raster or polygon).

The software is being designed to run using Microsoft's .NET Framework, and will allow for batch processing of conversions.

The software is scheduled to begin Beta Testing April, 2004. The company will give away a Pocket PC in a drawing to those beta testers that submit at least one (1) valid bug through the Beta program.
