Well, an user does not really exists until he confirmed his mail address.

User account pending for more than two days will be deleted, so you can just 
create another account with the appropriate address.

Summary:  New user should be able to correct email address

Original Submission:  When creating a new user account a mail will be sent to 
activate the account.



However if you typed in a wrong email address (like I did) you have no chance 
to correct it.



To reduce misuse it should be time limited of course.
