Hi Paul, please read http://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=1634
I had to kill several cvs process to help the server to calm down (aside from
reducing the apache maxclients). The load is still infamous but normally, as a
new mldonkey will be released tomorrow, it should decrease periodically.
This is not technically as Savannah bug, as there's not so much thing we can do
(if you have tips, I would be glad to hear)
=================== BUG #2754: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: psmith Project: Savannah
Submitted on: Sun 03/09/03 at 14:26
Category: CVS Severity: 5 - Average
Priority: None Bug Group: None
Resolution: Wont Fix Assigned to: yeupou
Status: Closed Effort: 0.00
Summary: Can't access anonymous CVS (SSH CVS works)
Original Submission: I've had reports from users over the last few days that
they can't use anonymous CVS to access the GNU make source tree. I hadn't
noticed because SSH access is still working, but if I (or anyone else) tries to
use anoncvs we get:
$ cvs -d :pserver:address@hidden:/cvsroot/make co -d make2 make
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
Help! Thanks!
