andrew, youre right! there was no librsync.so found when i used this
librsync version librsync-0.9.7-1.2.el4.rf.x86_64.rpm, since am running
a 64-bit server running CentOS. using the librsync tar file had also
different error. any ideas guys? thanks in advance..
