Hmm, did you happen to abort the first backup with 0.12.x after you upgraded
from 0.10.x? Otherwise you shouldn't have gotten this message.
The "fix" is to look for a file called
rdiff-backup-data/current_mirror.<time>.data in the destination directory,
and rename it so that <time> is after the last (failed) backup, but before
the current time. If there are two files like that, deleted one of them.
