I doubt many people have run into this problem :) In general if you need
totally different ways to start a pipe to the two hosts, you can just use
'%s' for the remote schema. For instance, if you need to run ssh -1 for one
host and rsh for the other, you can run:
rdiff-backup --remote-schema '%s' 'ssh -1 host1'::/indir 'rsh
host2'::/outdir
